2) Method of Payment
Secure Card Processing
We use Stripe which is a secure payment gateway to process our booking payments. They are a globally trusted name in the online payment industry. Our payment gateway provides multi-currency processing options, so we can process our bookings in several currencies (USD, EUR, GBP).
Card Processing Fee
While we do not charge any extra amount for our trip booking, we do pay our provider a small fee for processing card payments and this is common in e-commerce. At checkout, for either a card payment or Apple pay option a small fee (1.5%-3.25%) is added to your final amount. Cards from different countries have different processing fees. You can choose to pay by bank (wire) transfer instead and send your deposit to one of our accounts (USD, EUR, GBP) with no extra fees.
My payment has been declined by your payment gateway terminal. What can I do and can you help me?
We outsource our payment gateway to Stripe and it should work uninterrupted at all times. It does happen sometimes that your card gets rejected (declined) and you may contact us if we can help. Usually, this happens due to flagged or suspicious card activity which causes rejected transactions. In such cases, please first contact your issuing card provider and explain to them that you are trying to pay for a swimming holiday trip online at https://twooceanspickleball.net/. We are a verified merchant and receive payments from worldwide customers. Most times your card is rejected due to the security Denied by Risk parameter which does not allow you to pay such transactions online, or you may have exceeded your monthly limit. A phone call to your bank will usually sort this out quickly.
Bank Transfer
You may pay the deposit, balance or full published holiday price by bank transfer. We advise you on email on how to best pay via this option to save you some money (in some cases you can also use your debit/credit card). Please make a reservation at our website (no credit card payment at the end). At the last step of booking please select the bank transfer option. You will receive a confirmation email and then we will contact you on how to pay.
Sending a Check (Cheque)
We are sorry, but we no longer accept check payments.
